NFL Survivor Grid, 2026

The whole pool on one page.

A survivor grid is how pools kept score before apps: player names down the side, Weeks 1 through 18 across the top, one pick per cell. Alive players keep filling cells, eliminated players get a line through their row, and by December the grid itself tells the season's story.

Below is a clean printable grid for the 2026 season, plus the 32-team checklist every player needs so no team gets picked twice. Print as many copies as your pool wants. And if filling cells by hand for eighteen straight weeks sounds like a commissioner's chore, that is because it is, which is the honest reason survivor apps exist.

Cross a team off the week you pick it. Thirty-two boxes, eighteen weeks, and the math only gets meaner.

How to run the grid

Collect picks before kickoff, in secret

The commissioner gathers everyone's pick privately before each week's first game. If picks are visible early, players copy each other and the game flattens. This is the hardest part to do honestly on paper.

Fill the grid after kickoff

Once games start, write everyone's pick in their cell. Wins stay clean, losses get the strikethrough, and eliminated rows go quiet for the season.

Police the no-repeat rule

Check each new pick against that player's used teams. In a 20-person pool that is 360 potential checks across a season, which is exactly the job the checklist, and eventually your patience, exists for.

Or let the app be the grid

Outpick does every row of this automatically: secret picks, kickoff locks, live results, used-team enforcement, standings. The grid becomes a screen everyone can check from their phone.

Survivor grid questions

What is an NFL survivor grid?

A survivor grid is the tracking sheet for a survivor pool: player names down the side, Weeks 1 through 18 across the top, and each cell holds that player's pick for the week. Wins advance, losses get crossed out, and the grid shows the whole pool's season at a glance.

How do I track which teams I have already used?

Keep a 32-team checklist next to the grid and cross off each team the week you pick it. Every team is one-time-use for the season, so the checklist is what keeps you from an accidental repeat, which most pools count as a missed pick.

Is there a printable survivor grid for 2026?

Yes, this page is one. Use the print button and you get a blank 18-week pool grid plus a 32-team checklist sized for standard paper. It covers the full 2026 NFL regular season.

Do I still need a grid if I use a survivor pool app?

No. An app like Outpick is the grid: it records every pick, hides them until kickoff, marks wins and losses from live NFL results, tracks used teams per player, and keeps standings current automatically. The paper grid is for pools that enjoy doing it by hand.

Retire the grid

Outpick is the survivor grid that fills itself in: hidden picks, kickoff locking, used teams, automatic results, live standings. Free to play, no money ever. On the App Store and Google Play.
